Finally, emergency calls are notoriously expensive, as they often require a rush and escalation. Keeping things maintained ahead of time is always the more cost-effective option. Relying on outdated technology, however, is the antithesis of that.

We can’t neglect to mention how failing to maintain and otherwise keep your business’ IT up-to-date leaves you vulnerable to various issues.

Again, we already mentioned how developers tend to commit fewer and fewer resources to older IT tools. As a result, aging operating systems and applications lack the updated security features and software protections that need to be in place to prevent the modern threats you will face.

It’s like the old saying, you don’t bring a knife to a gunfight. Unfortunately, your old IT’s pocket knife isn’t going to help much against a cybercriminal’s digital six-shooter.
