It might feel like a loaded question, but it’s a valid one. Having too many logins can create situations where your team is either bottlenecked or placed at a security risk. Too many logins can create serious problems for your business, and not all of them are as obvious as wasting time signing into every app needed.

If you’re making your team sign into each and every app they use, you’re setting them up for failure. Here’s why.

The time adds up. If you have 15 employees and they all spend five minutes per day logging on, that adds up. If you multiply 5 by 15 employees, you get 75 minutes of organizational time wasted every single day—over an hour collectively.   2. Consolidate where possible – Once you know which solutions your business makes use of, it’s time to think about how you can better use the tools and solutions you pay for. See if you can use one or two tools to do more tasks, then consolidate down. A good example is using a productivity suite to handle most business tasks rather than a hodge-podge of one-off tools.
  3. Turn on single sign-on – Here’s the big one—you can use an SSO solution to use one set of credentials to access all of your business-critical applications. Talk about a time-saver.
